The India Breath Expedition is an immersive journey centered on connection and self-exploration, set in the Himalayan region of Ladakh. Rather than focusing on a single modality or a tightly scheduled program, the retreat creates space to slow down and explore how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to our environment when daily distractions fall away. The landscape itself plays an active role in the experience, inviting presence, perspective, and reflection throughout the journey.

The core of the retreat weaves together breathwork and connection-based practices. Breathwork is used as a practical tool for nervous system regulation, helping participants work with stress, emotional activation, and internal states as they arise. We don’t just “do” breathwork. We teach you breath-based frameworks to increase your self-awareness and emotional intelligence

Alongside this, polarity-based exercises led by the co-host support awareness of balance, boundaries, and presence in a grounded and accessible way. Together, these practices invite participants to explore internal experience and connection without forcing outcomes or performance.

The expedition is deeply informed by its cultural and environmental setting. Participants spend time along the banks of the Indus River, visit ancient meditation caves, and travel through remote mountain villages, experiencing daily life in Ladakh firsthand. As the journey unfolds, the group is immersed in Tibetan Buddhist culture, culminating in participation in a traditional Buddhist festival that offers a powerful sense of shared meaning and connection rooted in place and tradition.

Following the festival, the expedition concludes with a two-day trek through the Himalayan landscape. This portion of the journey is approached as a period of integration rather than physical challenge, offering space to reflect, walk in silence or conversation, and allow insights from the retreat to settle naturally. The simplicity of moving through the terrain together supports a grounded close to the experience.
